That's very nicely done, yet again.Would have been nice to see some insulation idea's for the mounting plate though, but i'm sure that will be easy enough to a resourceful modder/bencher.

I assume you have to take a bit of care when mounting then, especially as it's one side heavy!

If it the right height you can rest the base on the pci slots or atleast wedge something under it. :D

looks great LD, I was wondering, would it be possible to get it with a shorter Aluminum section? Maybe even just a screw on section of piping?

LOL thats nothing- my GPU Mousepots are 1.9Kg each....! :D

LD_ Nice work, but the bottom wont be able to fight off much condensation- the insulation isnt thick enough, but I appreciate because of the PCI slots, thats the hardest part.

LittleDevil
18-12-2007, 06:30 PM
Yes but you need to know that your Mousepot is made full of copper and that is a big difference. From bottom GPU pot to PCI is about 15mm space and i think that i enough for issulation. Remember i made those pics only to see how it looks like and not for benching/testing!

just for ease of use if it were used for dry ice, a long rod tends to be harder to stir up the dry ice/acetone slurry at the bottom, but hey, I could always just cut it myself ;)

is this where the quote "slap my top!", that I see on the back of dirty vans comes from?.. Strong wrist-ed adolescents hitting each other in strange places?
