damn, never had such a response from a forum before, already seems like a great place to be, thank you. Maybe you guys will finally help me develop from a newbie air-clocker to a pro eh? :)

How've you found the IP35? What FSB have you taken it too?

I have the same board and found it's great, but unfortunately still haven't pushed it to any limits.

not gone too far yet, got it to 400x8 but not entirely stable so playing around with it atm...

hey stocky, any advice on how i can push it any further? stable at 300x10 but after that it all goes downhill, though temps are still ok... An idea on voltages to push to 3.2-3.4? cheers mate

I've just done a little research on your chip and with 1.415V some random fella managed 3.3GHz stock air.

- What volts are you running at the moment?
- What have you upped in the BIOS?
- What are your Ballistix capable of?

Hopefully I'll be able to help a little better with them q's answered :)

1.400, well ive just got a successful post at 3200 at 1.4 but failed prime immediately, only upped vcore so far. the ballistix shouldnt be a problem, they're 6400's but should easily be able to clock to 8500 speeds i hear

Needs more Vcore.

What cooling?

1.5v will be fine just check those temps.

Heres my C2D 6400 @ 3.8ghz @ 1.55v 13 prime stable.

There is plenty more in your chip.

Thought about going water?

Its more fun and not as limiting as air when clocking.

Try keeping the chip near 60c if you can.
