Does anyone know where to get blue UV reactive 120mm fans? I’ve been Googling like mad but so far nothing :(.

Well in worst scenario case I could use some blue LED fans but I really would like to get some UV reactive ones.

In any case they should be reasonable quite!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Andy

Cheers for that however looks like they only have LED ones no UV reactive :(.

I can find plenty of places that selling 80mm ones but can’t locate anyone selling 120mm, maybe there is no 120mm ones .

Well I need one of these only 120mm:

This one is transparent black and then goes blue like the pic above as it is UV reactive and has UV LED's built in: http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_2549.html

Just to warn you - they aren't the quietest of fans but push a lot of air and scale well on a fan controller. The green/blue one looks sweet too ;)

Thanks for your input guys…

Well I found this (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2764/fuv-07/Yate_Loon_D12SL-12_Blue_UV_Reactive_120mm_Fan.html?tl=g36c15s521#b lank) which was exactly what I was looking for however it would cost me a fortune if I would order them from overseas so I’ll have to stick with LED fans in this case .

Also on a side note which fans have the best noise/flow ratio? I need them for water-cooling setup.

Cheers,
Andy

Also see this as it's another UV LED variation: http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=229

OK I found these:

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/files/master/sx_fan_120_blue.jpg

Official website: http://www.silenx.com/ixtremaproledfans.asp?sku=ixp-74-14l

The cheapest price I’ve seen is here: http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=3342&cat=527&page=1 but they are out of stock.

They look pretty decent as with speed of 1400rpm they has 72CFM and noise level of only 14dBA. Not the cheapest fans but looks like they could be worth it.

Does anyone have used them?

SilenX are quiet. But the CFM rating is waaaaaay off.

I have one that came with a case.

So are you saying it's nothing like 72CFM?

lol, I did a test on fans a couple of years ago with a CFM meter and a dB meter. Any quiet fans don't move much air, which is why they're quiet. In real terms 72CFM is close to a Panaflow on full wack. At 14dB(A) you'll be looking at around 20CFM I should think - but I hope I've put over the point here that you don't get high air flow without noise.

The answer in my eyes (and is what I do) is to buy a good rated fan which is capable of moving a good amount of air and then use an mCubed or similar to run them silently. This means that you get the best of both worlds, as you have silence and you have performance at the click of a button. :)

Of course, if you can't be bothered with a fan controller then it's probably a good idea to go with a well reviewed silent fan such as that golf fan or noctua or similar but whilst bearing in mind that they don't move a lot of air.
