Holy mother of FSB! I dunno if anyone has seen this, but it's a new one on me. Thought i would share. Just before i go get my wallet
Here's the batch info.
SLA93
Q723A262
VID 1.31v
FSB WALL @ 27C idle - 525 MHZ
VCCPLL TO VSS - 32.5 KOHMS
I feel daft now, i've posted this and THEN read the thread, only to see our own JB in there, and the Batch info is apparantly irrelevant.
I like to think my posts have a certain organic nature to them, as they evolve (facehand)
Brilliant result, but somehow the guy hasnt submitted ANYTHING to HWB for it :(

Dear God. FAIL. That defeats the purpose a bit doesnt it? It just turns into another Photoshop moment then. Anyway, this is what i'll have in mind on the 27th when i'm cranking up your vmods on my P5K and my E21xx.

It's heart breaking trust me - I've played with alot of differnet cpus and the batch seems to not matter a damn for FSB wall - purely luck of the draw :(

FPO means noting. You'll get a good batch of FPO's but what really does it...

Substrate, black section that say Intel in above photo. On the CPU it's self it has some codes. These codes are the die loaction and these are what make it count.
My Q6600 G0 is a new FPO not well known but has a monster pcb code and from what i have learnt it's ref mean it came from the center meaning pure!!! clock for clock performance etc etc

Ok, now you've opened our eyes to this little Gem of Info, we need a large table of codes to compare! We need to know so we can shop smart!

I have to second that! Although, I guess you'd have to test them all to find out for sure?

Pete probably read it from here:

Hipro has been discussing this recently.... Apparently the chips (dies?) are marked from the centre of the wafer (0) and numbers will run to ...a few hundred?
a die is approx 1cm^2 and the wafers are 30cm in diamater....brain melts....
