Delays always delays

Doesnt change much. Either release tomorrow with little stock and ya stand little chance of getting one for the first couple weeks, or allow another week for stocks to build up and waiting times will be shorter. Also means there might be less price-gouging.

I do find it strange i work in a production factory. The thing is dates change all the time i would expect them to know their capabilities a bit better. As in know when they have produced enough for launch it just seems like they dangle carrots to keep you interested. Is this just good marketing?

The cooler looks pretty nifty and more effective compared than the normal fan with plastic channel out-take

Don't expect that to be the standard cooler, that's the special Gecube exclusive one I would think.
The standard cooler is a normal fan, plastic tunnel with two copper finned blocks in the way.

Could be due to component batches/ revisions due to testing/ fault finding. You're probably right though in it being a good marketing approach as it keeps them in the light and also gets people talking; just like we're doing now!

Hmmm the bench marks from fps.com and legion don't seem that good.

Apparently there's a performance issue with these cards on anything less than PCIe 2.
Any idea if these can be Crossfired together on an X38 board?

Yes mate the cards can do crossfire and more, but as we all know you will need some CPU speed to get them to scale/ use all this GPU power, but in 3Dmark 03 you should see a big increase in the results as this test is mostly GPU related.

Well more benchmarks and it does not look good unless it can really use crossfire well.

I think that looks pretty good? Some of the small increases compared to other cards will be down to CPU bottleneck ;)
Its safe to say theres very little point in buying anything other than this or the nV equiv. for benching, especially for single-card category.

I must say the temps and power consumption did look good. With better cooling and a decent overclock would score well i just expected them to be a bit better from the work go to be honest.
