low VID too which seems to mean better overclocks from what i've been reading at XS forums.

FSB at 6x multi coming up!

540 FSB was max i could boot with which is deffo a chip limitation cos i know this board is good for 580 FSB atleast, but remember i'm on watercooling so FSB should be much better under phase / ln2 / dice.
i'm restricted to 1.7 PLL volts too which could be a limiting factor.

500 x 9 is a no-go, looks like 4500mhz on water aint gonna happen for this chip.

still alot better than some people have been getting though so semi-lucky with this chip, knocks the pants off my E6850 on water anyway, good chip for the man who can't afford phase :D

That's what RMA's are for. Needs more jiggawatts!

thats cool, i want to get me one of these chips, but they are out everywhere :( just keep my eyes pealed i guess - i bet they kill it on some extreme cooling.

Very nice! Reckon you could tweak to sub 10 in pi1m?

I.L.P

if i knew what tweaks to use then sure, saw K404's guide but a bit long winded for me lol, would switching one of the CPU cores off yield a better overclock? cos spi aint threaded as far as i know :)

Some nice clocks there shame you cant get there 4.5ghz mark :)

it's my poor water rig, need a better pump + fuzion block methinks. only on a 10w MCP350 atm and swiftech apogee with bad lapping.

in a dilemma really, can afford to upgrade the pump + waterblock but really wanna save up for a little devil SS unit.
