Hey guys i have a new project, here is SC XX cascade, i'm not sure if i will use 2x SC18CLX compressors or SC21CLX, we will see. I'm waiting condensor for first stage and some other parts. I hope it can hold about -100°c on load :D

i think it will not work so well

the sc21 can only just hold -35 under load on a good day as a 1st stage

unless you are going to use r23 in the second

which would be fine but then the temps would only be -80 loaded

but if you are going to use r1150 in the second stage you might have a fight on ya hands

to make a unit that will hold up under load

On old 2 x MP14FB i had about -92°c loaded temps on 250W.

We will see how it will work :p

What are the rest of the specs LD.?

I'm using a SC18/NF11 setup running -75 to -65 core temp figures (evap -85ish) on load depending on quad or dual core. So looking forward to how you tweak this dude ;)

I don't really understand cascades, but I can see the craftsman ship and quality in this one!

Cascade is just the evap of one phase unit is used to cool the condensor of the next, with the next cascade having a gas that won't liquify at ambient temps, so sub zero cooling lets it liquify.
