I need G1/4" - 1/2" barbs for my VGA blocks and looks like it a challenge to find them.

In my research I came across these ones:

G 1/4" Swivel Angled [13mm, 1/2"]

Apparently only place in UK that has them in stock is tekheads (http://www.tekheads.co.uk/s/product?product=608603) but they aren’t cheap.

Has anyone seen them cheaper elsewhere or could suggest alternative/similar product?

They're not meant to be very good for the flow from what I've heard. What are you doing with them?

Aqua PC's?

Those compression fittings are cool - flow not really compromised - the banjo fittings are the ones you need to look out for.

Maybe also a local distributor for Camozzi/Norgren/Legris or Metalwork pneumatic fittings

Yeah I know, there is no problem to get 10/8 ones but once it come to ½” it’s Mission Impossible.

What are you doing with them?

As per original post I need them for my graphics cards blocks.

Cheers Mav for heads up ;). Most specialized W/C shops would only have nylon ones but I’m not too keen about them:

Well I could certainly dig deeper and look in industrial supply shops but can't be arsed tbh as it probably would take ages to find something that would fit and even then I would probably have to order them online and there is a risk that something might not fit.

Can't find anything there... Link please?

Specialtech has these ones but they are out of stock:

I think I’ll have to spend fortune and buy them from tekheads then . 4 barbs would be £34.86 (including their value shipping).

Hows about these DD ones... may not be suitable but worth a look. Reckon you can change the barb on one end for a staright g1/4" coupler, any decent plumbing supplier should have something suitable.

Yep, use that plus a G1/4 nipple (ooh er) and then a barb of choice in the other female thread. Got a few of them and they work a treat.

Thanks for an advice guys ;).

DD thingy is definitely an option to consider however cost wise it could be the same as Koolance Nozzle as DD fitting is around £5 + something like £1.50 for a barb + probably another £1 or so for a "nipple". It works out pretty the same but good alternative indeed.

@ Jokester - where did you get the "nipple" from?

Over-clock stock them.

OMFG

It's £4.69 for "nipple" + £4.94 for DD L block + £1.54 for hi flow barb = £11.17 to fill 1 hole in water block :ohmy::ohmy:. And I thought that Koolance barb is expensive... OK, I already have a spare hi flow barbs so it would be "nipple" + DD L block but even then it would be £9.63.

Well I’ll have to bite the bullet and buy Koolance stuff as now it looks super cheap .

Thecoolingshop had Koolance barbs in stock and they had them cheaper however it looked like their delivery charge was higher so I got Tekheads to price match :).

As I really need them by the end of this week I had to choose RMSD and it all together cost me just about £34 .

Well another order was placed with wtercoolinguk to get a few bits and hopefully now I'll have everything I need.

Thanks for your help! ;)
