ok so today the fans came after what seamed like a lifetime to get here



there was no hanging about with these 1st step to remove the speed switch and braid the cables

solderd the hi speed pin so its full speed running then i can controlle it with the cases fan controller


shrinkless braiding and moved the sticker to the right orientation


fans fitted and some pipes polished


ive also made a start on the gpu cables there not yet finished but heres what i have so far


i knew that crimping tool had other uses


sorry i forgot to move my jamjar ashtray it looks horid lol
but the cable looks good


list of things to do

• finish the gpu cables
• go and buy a psu tester
• make ssd rack
• order some black acetel stock
• order some black dye for the cooling fluid
• make shorter ssd cables
• make extra 6pin pci-e cable for mobo
• get stressed and drink lots of red bull
• finish and take some good pictures lol

the list goes on :eh:

do need to sort the braiding now


18c on the cpu was cooler than i exspected


@ 2nd march
well all i can say is im glad the memory that is 1600mhz default now works at 2200mhz in this mobo

i also did a bit of thremal paste bedding in
everything on fullblast
prime95 @ 12threads small fft's
and kombuster in extreme burnin mode
it all stayed below 70c and the fans were on the lowest setting

so i got to work on the rig again
new black water


errr inside the cpu block


white vinger bath


some polshing with the mop


then a coat of clear laquer


cpu block top sanded one way and laquer'd


cpu block polished with meg's tech wax and put back together


bottom side was lapped flat


copper pipes polished with meg's tech wax


and a test fit and to see how it looks

mmm i think the pipes are much better now

ive had plenty of time to do them today i had 3 moles removed on monday
2 from my back and 1 from behind my ear all i can say is wow i didnt think it would be this painfull lol

heres the cpu block now its dry and back in the pc the only problem is i cant find my t-cut so cant make it super smooth


and i also redid my blueray drive bottom as it took some damage from all the in's and out's
